2009 ZONTA GALA - Saturday March 14, 2009
Zonta Gala Thanks a lot to those who attended, donated to, and worked to make this year's Gala a big success. It was held in the beatiful Ballroom of the Almas Temple located in downtown Washington, DC. The theme was a Venetian-style Masquerade Ball and Silent Auction. Proceeds will benefit the Scholarship and Service Projects of the Zonta Club of Washington, DC and Zonta International. Read more >>

Holiday Card 2008This Zonta Club tradition began years ago by our members making a donation to our foundation in lieu of sending personal cards to fellow club members. Please mail donations to: Carol Widmayer, Attn: 2008 Zonta Holiday Card, 5810 Helmsdale Lane, Kingstowne, VA 22315-4139. Donations Due no later than November 5, 2008 for your name to be listed in the card...please note the EARLIER due date! SCHOLARSHIP AND SERVICE PROJECTS
Since 2001, the Zonta Club of Washington, D.C. has awarded over $280,000 in scholarships to women attending Washington D.C. area universities and medical schools. The Club's local service projects include support for programs serving women and children, such as "N Street Village", "CASA D.C.", and "Girls Inc." [Brochure>>]
