[Zonta Club of Washington, DC]

DINNER MEETING
February 2, 2006

The speaker was Carol Rhees, the president of Hope for Children US.

Carol Rhees had been a lawyer for 23 years when she decided to become a high school history teacher. While doing research on hunger and development, Carol's experiences in Ethiopia during the famine changed her life. She refers to her work on behalf of AIDS orphans her"second full-time job," when not working at the Department of Humanities at the Maret School.
